Habitat for Humanity Restore Manager Ken Hunter spoke to the Brockville Rotary Club on Monday about the new initiatives his business has undergone over the last year. “Our new store has a great environment”, said Hunter, adding that many area residents are still unaware of everything they have to offer.
Habitat for Humanity’s Restore raises funds to build homes for those area residents in need. “We buy items from our customers, we sell these items to other customers, and when we have obtained enough funds, we build a home for someone who otherwise would go without proper housing”, said Hunter. “Everyone wins”.
