The local Green Party will open their campaign headquarters at 41 King St W in downtown Brockville on Monday April 4th at 7:00PM. Attendees will have an opportunity to meet Green Party candidate Mary Slade and hear more about the local campaign efforts.
“This is a very important run for the Green Party in this riding. We were within 200 votes of getting 10% of the vote that would have seen 60% of our election expenses covered by Elections Canada,” said campaign manager, Matt Casselman, “We have worked so hard since 2008 to reestablish our funds and increase our list of volunteers and supporters.”
Doors will open at 7:00pm and light refreshments and snacks will be served during the event. More information is available by visiting the Green Party website at www.leedsgrenvillegreens.ca or by e-mailing leedsgrenville@greenparty.ca.
