Brockville - City police are investigating a series of break-ins at several cottages that happened on Smith Island sometime between Wednesday and Saturday.
Police say eleven cottages on the island were broken into, which is located just south of Country Club Place and St. Lawrence Park in the west end of the city.
It was reported to police after one of the cottage owners discovered the break-ins on Saturday.
According to police, much of the damage was to cottage doors and theft and was classified as mischief, but one cottage was ransacked. Read More
