Brockville native Teri de Luis qualified for the Quebec provincial team and will be heading to the Royale Cup from August 22nd – 25th for the Canadian national championships.
de Luis finished in third place after the three qualifying tournaments, placing behind Susan Pearl and Louise Boivin with 2,880 points, on a fifth and two second place finishes.
This will be de Luis’ fourth trip to the national championships, placing a personal best 7th in 2007 and 9th in 2009. “I feel really good about my game right now,” said de Luis, adding that her season has gone very well, winning the Orlando women’s league championship and having several top finishes at other tournaments in Quebec and Ontario this summer.
